@geekysteven I am very happy with the directions the Dems have been going since Biden made the right decision for the country. I'm just so used to them snatching defeats from the jaws of victory. This will be a tense few months.

@geekysteven I wasn't surprised but pretty pleased, he's basically the originator of the "Republicans are weird" line that's working so well and seems in fine form to be the attack dog as the second on the ticket. This may be the most cool-kid Democratic ticket since Obama, and we all know the cool factor didn't reach the bottom of that ticket.

@geekysteven Maybe they're trying to lose the election, but are so out of touch with voters that they don't realise this is a terrible way to do it? In the same way that the Heritage Foundation happily published Project 2025 because they thought that their weird neofascist agenda would be popular.

@geekysteven you really should not have faith, instead work locally and enjoy the fruits of your labor; the reality is both parties are severely lacking, both have terrible fiscal policies, there is tons of money in politics and also lots of complicity. the dems should roll over trump and for that we should be grateful but also push for more drastic change since it is obviously needed. both the dems and the gop are just going to kick the can down the road like they have been - you won't see the change needed for a paradigm shift with current system
