I probably don't use it enough but TikTok still so far looks to me like a gun that hasn't yet been fired, at least, propaganda-wise.

Put another way, you might be able to hide poison in very sugary sodas, but if people are happily buying the soda, they’re already getting hurt, and on a much bigger scale.
TikTok is great for exploding nuance and demanding people do…something, NOW, or else you’re Team Evil, which cuts into people’s ability to work cohesively; who needs propaganda?
@WhiteCatTamer @FeralRobots @SwiftOnSecurity Absolutely. I realize that governments are pushing for a blanket ban not because of heavy-handed, full scale propaganda output, but the giant surface area the app provides for tiny nudges
