A dramatic, sweeping epic of a young man going from rags to slightly more stylish rags. (Views are my own & you can't have them...wait)

The perfect movie review doesn’t….
@siracusa @caseyliss @marcoarment and the 1949 Toyota logo is another katakana representation (literally “To Yo Da”)
@siracusa @caseyliss @marcoarment on the early Mazda logos, I’m assuming the early ones are circular because Mazda’s claim to fame was the rotary engine. The 1951 version is definitely the katakana for Mazda (literally “Ma Zu Da”)

In 1959, a cement mixer with a full load of cement, wrecked near Winganon, Oklahoma 🇺🇸

By the time a tow truck came to haul it away, all of cement had hardened inside of mixer. Tow truck was not able to remove all wreckage at same time because of weight, and decided to haul only cab/frame and would come back for detached mixer later, which never happened.

Today, 67 years later, it still sits where it fell. Locals have painted it and added "rocket thrusters" to make it look like a space capsule.

The most succinct and accurate description of the Old Web I’ve seen to date.
@siracusa @marcoarment @caseyliss and yes, sometimes the clicking and tapping of the controller can be annoying for my partner if she’s trying to go to sleep, but not always
@siracusa @marcoarment @caseyliss I have frequently tried to play a PS5 via the Remote Play app on my iPad with a PS5 controller wired to the iPad, and it works great until it doesn’t. I have an old eero Pro in the living room that the PS5 is wired to and a beacon in our bedroom, and the connection will be good for a while but will randomly degrade. Not great when you’re in the middle of a boss battle in a game that has timing-based parrying (Expedition 33) or is purely rhythm based (Hi-Fi Rush)

Just remember everyone, "design is not just how it looks but how it works"
