Ah, yes, Passwords.app. :)
@rmondello very very “finally” :)
@rmondello I couldn't tell, Ricky, can you have multiple URLs for a single password record? (Can you share that yet?)
@aaronbushnell @rmondello god I hope so, it’s one of the things that annoys me the most
@simonwesterlund @aaronbushnell @rmondello Multiple domains and subdomains. This feature alone makes 1PW seem very professional in comparison.
@rmondello Congratulations! Hope you’ll excuse this one excited, appreciative, “FINALLY!”
@rmondello this has got to the best feature apple has ever made

@rmondello do you happen to know somebody working on it? 😜

Just kidding: Congrats for the keynote feature!

@rmondello Ricky, did you know people wanted an app?
@rmondello Curious about the naming strategy here…on first glance it seems it would exclude passkeys, which are not passwords.
@_Jordan @rmondello It does include Passkeys. This is the screen shot from the Mac app on their website. I imagine the “crack marketing team” just went with the most common term to avoid confusion.
@rmondello Congrats on the ship! 🎊
@rmondello So glad your team’s work is getting the awareness it deserves!

@rmondello you knew!? 😛

Congrats! and thank you

@rmondello Yes! Looking forward to trying it! I’m completely dependent on Keychain for years. The iPad math doodler was the one other nice thing I’ve seen so far in the keynote talk so far.
@rmondello thanks ricky, I feel you did this for us personally
@rmondello Congrats! Will you be able to access previous passwords, for when a password change goes awry and you need the _old_ password?
@rmondello ssh keys support please 🙏🙂
@rmondello Congrats! Really looking forward to trying it.
@rmondello Does Passwords.app support Secure Note like Keychain Assistance?
@rmondello Ricky, I’m all-in on Passwords (very excited for the app and congrats), but I still keep a stupid text file for security questions, specifically on sites that make you pick answers from a pop-up menu. Will the new app help with that?
@rmondello If it’s as good as 1Password then good. Otherwise …
@PaulNickson judge it for yourself :)
@rmondello I will. If it’s as good as 1Password and is Apple ID-wide then I’ll adopt it.
@rmondello I’m getting the iPadOS 18 beta just to play with this 💕
@rmondello I shall keep the Shortcuts powered icon in my Dock forevs.
@rmondello Can you share if it’s also on iPadOS and iOS (and just announced during Mac segment)?

@rmondello This is exciting!

Does it support importing from KeePassXC?

Can I store non-password items such as credit card numbers and photos of ID cards?

@rmondello can it import data? If so what is the format or is there any documentation about it? Just thinking about how to migrate. Or at least try to.
