Does Apple have a problem with execs leaving for other companies? Of course this kind of thing happens, but seems much more frequent than it had in the past.

I'm genuinely optimistic about AI, especially as a programmer!
But, you should be suspicious of anyone saying programming is going away just like people said driving was going away with the advent of FSD.
What happens when your tool(s) are unavailable? For hours?
All Super Bowl commercials will fall into one of three categories:
1. haha, celebrities
2. centrist βcanβt we all get along?β slop
3. ai
I'm optimistic about AI, but I think the most devout believers (ones who think humans won't write code again) should note the industries they work in before making that declaration.
It's helped in mine, but nowhere close to full replacement any time soon.
Every two weeks the current administration wakes up and says "Whatever happened to [thing]?" (The actual status of [thing] is irrelevant)
And then will spend the next two weeks with unfettered money, power, and access on [thing].
