No to 'fries'! Mashed potato extruded in pencil thin exxtrusions.
We want CHIPS! Cut potatoes deep fried in lard. If this is new to you, you have been denied bliss. Insist on real potato, not ersatz powdered mash!

@anomnomnomaly I like french fries. The best commercial fries (not ones done at home) were from In-n-Out burger. Top notch. I watched them make them, from start to finish--where they ended up in my order!
