If you don’t hear the echos of “Kristallnacht” in the GOP party anti-democratic rhetoric, then you need to listen closer to it. Kristallnacht was the result of instigated rage, where mobs, troops and ordinary citizens torched or otherwise vandalized, damaged, and destroyed thousands of homes, schools & businesses. Except now, it’s not just an anti-semitic religious bent, it’s a “us versus them” bent. It ignores all social or legal norms- it’s simply self justified acts of evil hatred based off half truths & personalized political identity. The GOP hasn’t made nor is making anything better anymore… it’s just a transparent veneer of lies (“alternate facts”) over vulgar hatred.

Insights can eat your soul. Be careful of what you dream and long for. Afterwards, being taken for granted becomes commonplace… and your imaginative thoughts are second guessed rather than being offered free reign.

Argh… #verizonfios is down again. After an hour on a (verizon) mobile phone line, they finally agreed to send a service person… “Sometime tomorrow.”

Life is too short to deal with truly broken people with no potential for redemption…

Apologies for anyone bothered by the caustic call out on Mastodon which I experienced tonight… but I’m still not certain what actually precipitated the reaction, other a previous discussion on parenting occurred in DMs- and for all of me, I don’t believe the comments made were deserved.
Sadly, I know there are many uncomfortable things that occur in lives that are not within our control, and then turn into complicated, unfortunate outcomes. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m not angry, just concerned & a bit confused.
