@donhawkins When I was young I thought it would be cool in the future to have all these convenient automations. We have them, but they’re created by businesses that are almost always using them for surveillance. We all can’t DIY all our own alternatives! People need to understand the value of privacy. If they have a hard time understanding that concept maybe they can understand the converse—the real value of our information to the businesses. #privacy #SurveillanceCapitalism
