Blocking internet access via DNS
@i0null that photo makes me laugh ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„
@i0null You were trying to download more ram?
@i0null like people seeing oppression in the world be like-
@bgtlover @i0null yes, it's called Pi-hole, after all, most of the tinterweb happens to be adds :)
@i0null and now
I will forever see ads as sheep

@i0null

It is also an amazing metaphor ( don't know if that is the correct word ) for the self limited lives many of of us lead.

@i0null note that it works in the majority of cases.
@i0null yet whenever there is no internet, it is always DNS, so clearly it is an effective lever to use.
@i0null lol. One of them has found an open DNS server.
@i0null Set your audit scope correct. Its secure.
@i0null also, WiFI MAC address filtering and hidden network names.
@i0null Paywalls can be so frustrating.
@DocBohn @i0null I'm so glad someone made this association. Here, have a thumbs up ๐Ÿ‘
@i0null Wow, this image reminds me of the toll booth in Blazing Saddles ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
@i0null not boosted by @bortzmeyer yet??
@mmu_man @i0null Done :-) But it is questionable. Sure, working around #DNS censorship can be simple when you're knowledgeable. But some people are not (and access to information should be for everyone, not just the geeks), and, also, some are on environments where it is not easy to change the resolver (iOS...).
@i0null yes but where is the black sheep ?! (already gone !!??)
@i0null โ€œUse application DNS?โ€ โ€œYes, I think I will.โ€
@i0null
@lisamelton
I love this on many levels..

@i0null

"We are ISO certified!"

@i0null Showed my wife the picture without context. "Are those Republican sheep?"
@i0null it seems to work ๐Ÿ™‚
