Every day we commemorate the victims & educate about the tragic human history of #Auschwitz.
Auschwitz is a place that shows where hatred, antisemitism and contempt for a fellow man led people decades ago.
It is also a place where we should reflect on our individual and collective responsibility for the world we live in.
@auschwitzmuseum I would also like to suggest that you temporarily cease the feed of Holocaust victims from the previous century and begin broadcasting the names, photos, and stories of Holocaust victims from Simhat Torah
Your organization has no other purpose than to prevent the horrors which Israel experienced on Simhat Torah. Now that you have failed in that - now that we have all failed in that - the least you can do is support the war effort with every resource you have.
Maybe I'm naive, but I have faith that @auschwitzmuseum very much believes in that #NeverAgain means NEVER, no matter who is wearing the jackboot this time, and who is being crushed underfoot.
And that NEVER always means Right Now, as well as in the future.
Benny is one of those people that believe that genocide can only occur against Jews or Israel, but that it is by definition impossible that genocide can be committed BY Israel or Jews.

What is the correct response to a terrorist force invading your country, killing over a thousand civilians, kidnapping hundreds (offering to let some of them go in the event of a ceasefire), continuously firing thousands of rockets at civilian targets (with such piss-poor aim that about 30% land in their own territory), continually attempting invasions by sea, and repeatedly calling for global genocide? What is proportionate to that?

People trapped in an open air prison aren't going to manage to commit genocide against you anyway. This isn't some kind of even contest, and pretending it is is farcical. Your government fucked up by building up hamas, hamas did horrible terrorist things, and then you responded by displacing a million people, doing horrible terrorist things, and you appear to just be getting started.

The Israeli government isn't my government, and is not responsible for the decisions on the part of Hamas to target and slaughter and kidnap and keep civilians. Hamas are people, they have basic agency.
Palestinian kids are kids, who should not be used as pawns or human shields or forced to stay in a warzone or indoctrinated by Hamas.
The question remains, what is the correct response? I've heard you condemn Israel, I've yet to hear a viable alternate strategy.

Israel does not target any civilians. Statistics out of Gaza are all from Hamas, and do not distinguish between causes of death (Hamas and PIJ kill Palestinians too, sometimes by accident and sometimes on purpose).
Hamas uses civilians as human shields. I could link you to dozens of sources as evidence if you weren't proud of your ignorance. Anybody wanna see them?

I don't think the Auschwitz museum has any responsibility in the policies of the Israeli government.
What I remember from my visit (OK, it was long ago, the management has changed since then) was not a focus on Jews being eternal victims, but rather on the brutal machinery of extermination.
