The US has condemned the violence and urged both sides to refrain from retaliating. Egypt, which usually mediates between #Israel and #Palestinian militants, has warned both sides of dire consequences to the current escalation. In a statement, the Egyptian foreign ministry called for exercising maximum restraint and the need to spare civilians. The EU and several European countries have also condemned the attack.

This is not accurate journalism. The attacks in Israel go far beyond rockets being shot into Israel.

If you watch the reports from credible news sources in Israel, as well as first hand reports, innocent civilians are being kidnapped, people are being murdered, women are being raped, etc. in a coordinated multi-pronged attack.

I would expect more from a journalist.

@qkslvrwolf @fulelo the attacks have taken place near Gaza, not the West Bank, so they're only 'settlers' if you don't consider Israel to be a legitimate state. And that still wouldn't justify attacks on civilians.
