The rich and powerful know that it's harmful to keep getting reinfected with COVID over and over. So they keep up to date with vaccines, wear masks, clean indoor air etc. But they don't tell anyone else to do it because they profit from creating the illusion that #COVID is over.

The pandemic is not over. Leaders should tell people to take precautions (just as they are) to prevent potentially harmful #COVID reinfections.

@luckytran don’t let them lie to you #CapitalistsKill off people they don’t value such as those with compromised immune systems or the elderly because they won’t pay more taxes… they’re too busy hoarding food and clean water so that poor people have to suffer for $7.25/hour. @luckytran It's enraging. I was so happy when he was elected because I thought it meant that we would get policies and messaging that were actually designed to keep infections minimal.

I'd vote for him again, obviously, but our politics is 100% broken. It's literally choosing frying pan over fire because at least you'll burn on only one side.

There will be no mask or vaccine mandates until All Republicans in Congress are on life support, or actively dying, from a viral infection.

Forcing people into poverty is how #Capitalism steals humanity from us… are we forced to choose going to work in the office where soulless beings refuse masks? Yes. Are we forced to go into government buildings to get VITAL services we are due where other poor people have been convinced not to wear masks? Yes.

@luckytran in my limited experience they mostly don't wear masks.

Instead they force everyone else they come in contact with to wear masks.

I've never seen one of our local billionaires in a mask, but their drivers all have well fitted N95s.
