About trans rights:

They're a wedge issue. If you think it's okay to deprive trans people of the right to exist in the public sphere then you're saying human rights are conditional and/or can be withdrawn. Which puts you on a slippery slope to no human rights for anyone.

When you trace the roots of the modern anti-trans movement they boil down to some combination of bigotry and billionaire bullshit— the oligarchs think rights are for the rich.

So: trans-rights are human rights. No exceptions.

Just a few days ago, America saw the biggest public political demonstration in the nation's history. 8 million people across the country. Virtually no violence, no incidents of any kind. An absolutely remarkable phenomenon. I'm reminding you because the media's forgotten already.

If a human tells me they are a tiger (seriously) it makes me want to keep that person out of my life, if I can help it.

We all might have cases where a family member is mentally ill, so I try to reduce my stress, chaos risk, emo-drama and sabotaging delusions "budget spend" for dealing with them, at most.

As Americans especially we are forced to wade through a storm of gaslighting by our politicians ("Up is down! Down is up!"), corporate advertisers ("You need our product or lifestyle such-and-such!") and VC (eg. on AI).

Judge blocks Trump order to end funding for NPR and PBS

A federal judge has agreed to permanently block the Trump administration from implementing a presidential directive to end federal funding for National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service. The two are media entities that the White House has said are counterproductive to American priorities. U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss cited the First Amendment in his decision. The impact was not immediately clear — both because it will likely be appealed and because too much damage to the public-broadcasting system has already been done, both by the president and Congress.
