The rich and powerful know that it's harmful to keep getting reinfected with COVID over and over. So they keep up to date with vaccines, wear masks, clean indoor air etc. But they don't tell anyone else to do it because they profit from creating the illusion that #COVID is over.

The pandemic is not over. Leaders should tell people to take precautions (just as they are) to prevent potentially harmful #COVID reinfections.

@luckytran It's enraging. I was so happy when he was elected because I thought it meant that we would get policies and messaging that were actually designed to keep infections minimal.

I'd vote for him again, obviously, but our politics is 100% broken. It's literally choosing frying pan over fire because at least you'll burn on only one side.
