After many years of feeling worn out, I was diagnosed with #ADHD this summer. Exactly one year ago, I was trying to convey the new image I had of myself through the analysis of my desire.

These words are the outcome of my early attempt, the embryonic expression of my innovated understanding.

This is my first time openly discussing my experience on the internet, so please let me know if you relate to it.

Zwitterionic digressions - Fragmented peaks of desire

Throughout my existence, I have always considered myself to be a cautious person. Let's even say "a very cautious person." Yet, in recent years, a series of events has revealed the fragility…

@gicrisf that’s really interesting. I don’t have time to read it atm, but am curious what your method was. Also, welcome to the #nerodivergent club. We’re all here to help.

I’m a fellow adult ADHD diagnosee, so I know it’s quite a journey!

@Bayoubilly Thank you so much!
More than a method, I tried to briefly explain my inner perspective, then why it has changed and then give a concrete example of my executive function deficit.

(I could provide countless examples, actually, that was just the most recent one when I wrote this post).

@gicrisf thanks to my insomnia caused by the never ending vortex of semi-organized chaos that make up my inner thoughts I was able to stop and read your writing.

First, I must say, you have quite a way with the written word, so bravo!

Second, while reading through, as an a observer who understands the struggle, it so was interesting to see so many classic traits that make up this crippling illness that permeates society manifest in your internal struggle.

Thanks for sharing.

@Bayoubilly Thanks for your kind feedback!
Trust me, I know what it means to deal with insomnia for the same reasons, so I'm sorry for that, but it's nice to discover that because of that you found something interesting in this post.

Who knows how many fewer things I would have read if I had always slept like a normal person 😂
