If it's anonymous all around there's no way anyone can complain. And better than a mysterious unknown benefactor.

Sage@evacide so.. she’s not being considered, not because she has massive or unusual amounts of debt… but because she is a normal, middle class person and not rich? It sounds like she just has loans for her house (like most people) and for her kid’s education (like most people who pay to send their kids to better schools or college.) maybe I shouldn’t be surprised but that’s kind of mind-blowing.

The GOP can hold a judicial position open forever until they can put in their own nominee, magically pay off all their political appointees dates through 3rd parties our Russian Oligarchs, and effectively roll back women’s and civil rights unopposed.

@jason @evacide as the article notes, she already has a clearance, and the concerns stated in the article are that her debt - which isn't described as excessive or unusual - would leave her open to criticism during confirmation hearings. So the White House is just going to take the coward's way out and not even try.
