Apparently they’re currently experiencing delays in the content monetisation policy checks for VOD. Whatever that means. There’s literally a Social Media platform war going on. Sounds like all those platforms are fighting for the attention of content creators and users. No matter how ethical it is. It’s all about attention. Apparently Meta still wants to connect to Mastodon.

The economy is in a strange spot for many people as well, and that means they will be more particular about their dollar spending. Paying creators drives more effort from them on the platform, Youtube/Twitch have done this best via superchats. Twitter Blue=cash to creators.

It's ubiquitous, and serves as a way to see events, both real-world or esoteric/online as they are happening.
You just don't really get that from anywhere else currently.

Twitter is going to start paying popular users for views. Current calculations look like $8.50 per million views. Looking at my Twitter analytics data I’d be making $250 - $450 a month if I restarted posting there actively. This is probably the first smart move I’ve seen from Elon at Twitter.
