More #weightlifting news today: I have completed 1 of 2 max testing sessions (with my trainer in person for a change, to boot)! I tested #1RepMax on squat this morning - target was 305#, finished at 335#! 🥳 Previously tested max from years ago was 400, and that was slow and ugly. This 335 felt very strong! Next up today is bench press! … after some hydration and some fruit and maybe a nap. 😅

UPDATE: Benchpress testing complete! Landed at a solid but very heavy 275, failed to hit the target of 285. I might have eked out 280, but it wouldn’t have been fast or pretty. 🫣

Max testing is complete! I’m about to shower and nap SO hard. 😂
