1) they absolutely believe it, particularly about LGBT people but by no means just.
It's not new. They've been going off for _literally decades_ internally about Revelations 3:15-16 - absolutely obsessed with it - specifically as applied to politics. For them, it's literally either God or Satan, and they're god, which makes all of us _literally Satan_.
I've been trying to get people to take this seriously for over 20 years because when the fundamentalist movement took over the GOP, they brought this _political_ culture with them.
2) It's all they've got and they know it.

I kept desperately trying to find the "T" in the logo because why would they not base the design on the name of their app?? And after not finding one I was like, "that's kinda....a not helpful logo...right??? hmmmm..."
