Ok #maps crew anyone have a favorite cartogram algorithm in 2026?
I did a quick vibe implementation of House Kocmoud (1998) since that was my gold standard dream but much has happened since then.
Just ran the latest Gastner (2018) and it's a big improvement despite their wacky website.
Do we want a qgis plugin that supports all these locally?

EDIT: a lot of people rejecting this because glitter is not eco-friendly, so I'm adding a link to biodegradable glitter. I'm sure other companies make such a thing.
