@DazzlingDamo yeah there was definitely a fifties era of using design tips from US cars with the Euros.
@vwdasher it one of those things that I sort of associate with Ford, maybe Vauhall /Opel but expect it not to have influenced German manufacturers. 🤷‍♂️
Given there were a lot of Americans in Germany at the time it really shouldn't be a surprise.
@DazzlingDamo oh no post war they were trying things to sell cars. There's a few VAG cars from this era that had fins and looked like smaller American sedans.
