Guess it’s time for that #introduction, huh?

I’m T.A., a #queer #disabled #witch & #author of several #books & chapbooks. Much to my horror, I live in Florida, but I’m doing what I can to stay safe while using my privilege to help others.

Currently, I’m working on a novel about manatees and the gods, as well as a multimodal exploration of my #occult lineage. When not #writing, making #art, or studying #KouriVini, I collect #EnamelPins & play #VideoGames.

@sleepychels I love the FF, LoZ, and KH franchises—those are my favorites—and I also play Genshin Impact pretty regularly. Oh, and I’m (very slowly) working on RSR2 right now. What about you?

@ghoststructuralism Awesome! I’ve played a bit of BOTW though not finished it and haven’t played in a while. Not that it isn’t my jam but I’ve had more fun playing other things. Mostly Pokémon, Stardew Valley and I can’t stop playing modded Minecraft.

@sleepychels Oh man, I used to love Pokémon but haven’t played in ages. I’ve heard mixed things about the newer games, though. Would you say it’s a lot of grumpy grumpers grumping, or is there something to the criticisms?

@ghoststructuralism I would say it’s a good bit of both. There’s a whole lot to like about the new games but there’s a whole lot missing too (especially from the switch titles). It’s up to what you really appreciate about the games. If you get someone trying to tell you the new games totally suck, you’ve got a grumpy grumper.

@sleepychels I feel like a lot of people complained about the similarity to Go, but I *liked* Go—at least, I did before the Powers That Be™️—decided to mess everything up. Sounds like I should keep my eyes peeled for when the games go on sale for the Switch!

@ghoststructuralism I’ve only seen complaints about lackluster gyms, the designs of the mons themselves (mostly unfair if you ask me). I feel like the music has not gotten worse but changed in a way that isn’t to my liking. And then lackluster routes and towns really peeve me.
