@jon Where is ChromeOS? Do you consider that Linux?
@newmanth , there was only room for 4 options, so I was a bit limited.
@jon my primary computer is currently running the macOS Sonoma Dev Beta 2. I also have a secondary computer running Windows 11 with WSL2.
@jon I dual boot Win and Linux on my main PC and Linux on Steam Deck. Used windows all my life, so it's really hard to get accustomed to an OS where things like, a session is a text file and drives are a folder nested within a directory higher than itself, make perfect sense. It's extremely rewarding, and I'm only scratching the surface, but it's reealy frustrating at times, too. KDE Plasma on top of ZorinOS, btw, and a screenshot is currently my only post here.
@jon If I use both Windows and Linux, then what? Should I select the system I spend most time on?
@jon
This poll doesn't allow to select more than one system ๐Ÿ™„
@jon macOS and FreeBSD with Win10 and WIn11 in Bhyve
@jon at home user linux and work windows with vilvaldi!
@jon Linux as the primary OS but sharing a dual boot with Win 10 for irritating reasons
@jon Windows 10 as long as it keeps staying running. after that, I really hope that ReactOS is finished
@jon
Windows for the most part. Would like to get into Linux, but there's just too much effort in that overall.
@jon @Vivaldi windows, but I also have an M2 Mini, Steam Deck and a Chromebook (that's not a great Vivaldi experience tbh, low specs and need to run the Linux subsystem make it dog slow)
@AlexTheStampede @Vivaldi , might be worth comparing with the Android version running on ChromeOS.
@jon @Vivaldi no doubt it's mostly fault of the 4gb of ram being stretched too thin rather than anything else, but yes, the android version is much more reactive on my specific machine :)
@jon Currently running Arcolinux wtih bswpm on my primary machine. May switch back to Archcraft when Aditya gets the next release out in July.
@jon FreeBSD is not an option?
@antranigv , I could only list 4 options. Would have loved to have more.
@jon these quizzes are really the best way to tell how far the Fediverse has to go to not be a super niche endeavour. A majority Linux says it all.

@jbwharris , as I have pointed out before, the #fediverse reminds me of the early days of the #Web. I can tell you that in the early days of the Web, we were all using #UNIX In fact it is widely known that Tim Berners-Lee of @w3c was using #NeXT computers to code.

Geir and I programmed early versions of #Opera on #SunMicrosystems computers, using UNIX.

So there is a lot of similarities.

@jon @jbwharris @w3c Vivaldi is my go to browser, before that Opera was my favourite. So many built in features. Once you start with gestures it is hard to browse without it. #vivaldi
@jon Don't forget BSD!
@fenndev , noted. I wish I could include more choices. Will find a way next time!
@jon I guess, being a Windows user, I lose! ๐Ÿ˜
