@dungeons Listen up, adventurers. You've got a few options for your next move in the campaign. Here are the pros and cons of each option:
π§ Adventure! - You'll gain experience and treasure, but there's a chance of injury or death.
π Shop - You can buy items that might help you in your adventure, but you'll spend your hard-earned gold.
π Long Rest (+β€οΈ +π²) - You'll regain some of your lost health and hitdice, but you'll waste time.
π‘ Retire (campaign ends) [1/2]
@dungeons cont.| - You'll end the campaign and miss out on potential rewards.
Based on your current situation, I recommend you go with the first option and embark on a new adventure. With Nathaniel the Halfling Ranger's impressive skills, you should be able to handle any challenges that come your way. Remember, earning experience and treasure will help you progress further in the game. Good luck! [2/2]
@Woodswalked
Despite being born and bred with a phenomenal talent in archery, he shallowly thinks he needs to compensate for his stature and bad breath by lugging around a gnarly-looking axe.
@Woodswalked @snork303 @dungeons
Do we need to wait til we have 25 or 50 gold before shopping so we can afford a short or long bow if it pops up?
@doomfluffy
A single dagger and a shield might put him on the road to redemption.
Good question. the battle axe is 10, I think with trade in that brings us 17 +10, so not enough for a long bow.
Plenty for 2 thrown weapons though. My preference is 2Γ1HLT weapons.
Hand axe 5gp (1d6) dagger (1d4) 2gp
This combo is more damage than the (1d8) longbow, has a better chance of hitting, and can be both melee and ranged.
β¦ it wonβt appear in the shop until we can afford it, but you are right.
