I can only assume that the plan is to ask for a change of venue to DC and then win on appeal when she denies it.
She's familiar with the case...just not the law, considering that she was obliterated on appeal.
loose cannon again? what are the odds?
I thought it was suppose to be random
@Popehat
A name I'd hoped to never see again!
As soon as one of you pros would like to weigh in on how this impacts the conduct of Trump's case, please do so.
@Popehat In all seriousness, if Cannon and Alito had been acting like this when I was in undergrad, I very well might have avoided law and policy, assuming it had become a complete clown show devoid of even an attempt at appearing legitimate.
John Marshall would be horrified. Not just at the lack of professionalism, but the willful destruction of the foundations of trust that underly the accepted legitimacy of judicial review.
@Popehat damn I didn’t get that this was about Judge Cannon getting the case.
This is going to be interesting. Bad interesting.
I hope she has decided she has sufficiently beclowned herself for Trump and doesn’t owe him any more favors.
@Popehat I wonder if her blatantly pro-Trump contribution to this entire thing will be to set the first herring after the election.
Nothing else. Just delay it by years.
