@GreenFire @QasimRashid from the sounds of it, they did initially get into the wrong car but jumped out immediately when they saw the guy & the girls got into their car. Apparently the guy then walked over to them & shot them while they were sitting in their car.

@QasimRashid The way this is going, perhaps we will need to arm ourselves to the teeth, indeed. Then when we are all basking in the blood, politicians and their families included, then perhaps we will stop and say "wait a minute. This is not working."

@locksmithprime @QasimRashid Hate to say it, but only when the politicians and gun manufacturers and sellers' families (and they themselves) start getting shot will they come to their senses.

I believe in civilian gun ownership, but America (and especially Red states) have taken it WAY too far.

@yippee1999 @QasimRashid The end result of that fearmongering will ultimately end in causing that exact scenario to happen. Gun manufacturers will be forced to no longer sell to the public, law enforcement and the military will have to perform constant search and seizure of all weapons and ammunition from everyone repeatedly until they are all gone. Since refusal of common sense gun laws is too draconian for them, a zero tolerance policy is all that's left.

@QasimRashid the problem with logic is that it does not capture people’s attention, using your emotional heart does. The problem is these people seem to not have an emotional heart. Only when the problem is that their front door will it become an issue.

@iamjstates @QasimRashid there have already been quite a few white, middle class folk as shooting victims in that list of latest incidents.

And still there seems to be no will to change things there. As it seems the other half of the country are decent folk who *don't* want to live like this, I am not sure if USA can be described as anything other than a bitterly divided country in a state of low level civil war..

@QasimRashid The NRA is basically a poorly trained paramilitary organization. All these senseless shootings are the result of a lack of laws regulating gun ownership. A gun license should require that the person is at least sane with some degree of good judgement.
