Social media is not necessarily a bad thing. But you should never post your inner monologue there.
It appears that the Premier League is not the best league in Europe. 6 teams in the round of 16. 2 draws and 4 losses - at this point only Arsenal and Liverpool have a chance of going through.
I have enough experience in the tech industry that I could be a consultant or own a business but when you’ve been employed for as long as I have taking that leap is something that you’re afraid of. Now that I’m unemployed, it should be easier but yet the fear still remains.
I’ve been told that being private has caused me not being even looked at for employment with tech companies even though I’ve been a tech worker for decades. That said I’m most convinced that self-hosting and not using the cloud is the best option for 90% of the tech companies.

Yes, I’m somewhat of a void on social media. There are things I want to say and things I should say. I’m not happy with the general situation in the world. It’s gotten worse and it some point it will all come crashing down for those that are in power. The unfortunate part is it’s taking all of us with it.

I live in the US, but would be open to employment in Canada. I’ve been laid off from PwC and worked within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), shaped the technical roadmap, align stakeholders, and implement systems using microservices/SOA, event-driven and domain-driven design principles.
I have leveraged front-end technologies like Vue, EmberJS, and Dioxus. Just learned Rust, and added Actix into my arsenal of backend frameworks including Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
