Family support protects trans young people, but their families need support too

In her address to the National Press Club of Australia today, actress, writer and advocate Georgie Stone OAM is sharing her experience as a young trans person growing up in Australia.

I had to look it up not being from Australia so I figure I would share it here. OAM stands for the Order of Australia Medal, which is a civilian award in Australia that recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to their communities or fields of work.
