@georgetakei as despicable as I find Cruz, I do not support the take that you need to follow every rule you support even if it's not actually in effect. You should be expected to play by the rules everyone plays by, and not expected to play by your preferred rules alone. This becomes rather obvious if playing by the rules you propose would be illegal. It doesn't sound sensible to dismiss advocates of Cannabis legalisation by pointing out that they don't smoke pot.

@georgetakei it’d be great if he were actually fighting for all 30 million Texans, but only 4.2M voted for him and it was a fairly close election.

He barely cares about the ones that voted for him, definitely not for the ones that didn’t.

We've always had Term Limits - it's called "The Vote". Don't want your representative/ Senator? Don't vote for 'em.

Don't want MY representative/ Senator? Tough - it's none of your business.

All "Term Limits" do is allow *you* to tell *me* who I can vote for. Patently unconstitutional.

When "Term Limits" are on the ballot. 90%+ of incumbents are voted back into office.
