Volodymyr Zelensky has defied expectations and harnessed the spirit of democracy to rally his people – and the world – to defend Ukraine.

The power of collective action is stronger than the iron fist of any autocrat.

Remember this when so-called “strongmen” suggest otherwise.

At least in Margaret Atwood’s novel the radical religious terrorists used guns to overthrow our government.

In the real version we’re literally electing them to office. I feel that not enough folks read The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.

They’re taking over state and local legislatures, councils and boards.

Christian Nationalists and Dominionists are absolutely a threat to our democracy.

They’ve had this plan for decades and now they’re enacting it. This is a clear and present danger.

Oh this is rich. Ted Cruz is pushing a bill to cap Senate terms at 2 but has announced he’s running for his third term.
