@caseynewton @zoeschiffer bizzare, at my most generous I thought he was looking at his Twitter feed as a way to analyze engagement among his friend/ (hello catturd2) but it’s really just the Musk show now, makes me think of that interview with the journalist where they asked if he thinks he could be doing wrong, and he said he still had 130 million followers in Twitter, seems like view engagement is an extension of his self worth, if he’s not getting the views maybe he’s not right?

@viraptor Thing is that at some point even people who aren’t bothered by him will get annoyed that he’s constantly at the top of their feeds along with all the algo-hacking influencers that most people eventually regret following. From there, the logical end is that more and more people block him. Muting won’t be enough because they’ll continue getting β€œthis tweet is from an account you muted” stub.
