@Popehat I use the microwave and small electrical appliances to cook on. I have a 2-burner propane mini stove, in case of power failure.
There are no natural gas pipelines in my county.
"Like, whatever."🤷
@Popehat I bought a house last year with a gas stove. It's fairly new.
I'm planning on replacing it with an induction range when I put solar on the roof. I really tried to like it, since *so many* people love them. I hate it. I'm really thinking about buying a small induction top "for the RV" and using it in the kitchen whenever I can.
In the olden daze, things were made well.
I gotta love the right wing culture war stuff... It isn't like it is removing gas stoves (and heck, you can pry my BlueStar 6 burner from my cold, dead hands), it is just new construction in a few jurisdictions. But never let the truth interfere with a culture war story.
We don’t have gas lines in my neighborhood.
OR …
You could just turn on the vent fan when you cook …
I don't get the furor at all, I don't think my city has any gas lines at all, and it seems like the fewer pipes you have to run into a building the better.
I think some people just enjoy finding new things to get mad about.
