Elon Musk is getting mixed up in his own lies. My Twitter account was not suspended because of any supposedly offending tweets or for "inciting violence".

I was suspended for "Ban Evasion", which I've ever engaged in. I have the screenshot to prove it.

After Ngo's thuggish legal threats against me left him totally embarrassed, Ngo filed a false DMCA report against my account.

Ngo abused Twitter's copyright reporting system in another desperate attempt to silence me. If there had been a federal anti-SLAPP law in effect, Ngo would have been destroyed in court for this stunt.

@chadloder @Popehat Okay, having read the article (and yes, Ken, I -will- be reading the whole letter, because I'm a legal nerd like that) I have to really laugh because when I sent a defamation notice to Andy for him making factually false claims about me that incited threats against me and my presumed family, -his- lawyer (Dillon et al) claimed that Twitter wasn't a journalistic outlet, and that his posts were just his 'opinion'.

I still have the letter.

@chadloder @evangreer Regrettably, there likely is no legal requirement that they tell you the truth or even make sense in the bans on the free service.

An argument may be made if you paid for the service and they banned you for nonsensical reasons that you have some rights. Unfortunately, the best you could come up with there is you have a right to your money back.

ICTs* in general have insufficient legal protections in my mind. They should at the very least see the guarantees that common carriers do for travel. (e.g. if they undertake, they leave you stranded.) The network effect is real and rules our lives in this post-pandemic world.
