WotC is looking to destroy the open tabletop gaming world, all in the name of making a monopoly.

It's worth noting, in case not enough people have been pointing it out: The NYPD cop that was suspended without pay for brutally assaulting a teen girl of color will, most likely, win back pay and benefits when the cop union whines about it.

Saying he's suspended without pay is just meant to make us feel like he gets a little justice. His paycheck for his paid vacation is just a little delayed.

The bit about a lawyer being stopped from entering a music hall in the US because its facial recognition system picked up that she's part of a law company that's suing them is even crazier than I thought.

The law company isn't suing the music hall - it's suing a restaurant, in another state, which is owned by the hall's parent company MSG Entertainment. MSG gone ahead and harvested photos of all the lawyers in the firm and fed it to an image recognition system to ban them from every MSG Entertainment owned location.

People always tell me that if you've got nothing to hide then you've got nothing to fear. She's got nothing to hide and they still went after her.

If this doesn't start making people worried about facial recognition then there's serious trouble coming.

"...Elon Musk issued an edict to the journalism community. Obey me ... or you will be banned from posting on #Twitter."

"This should have been a pivotal moment in media history — an inflection point when journalists realized how dangerous it is to put their fates in the hands of people who claim to revere free speech but use their power to control it...thanks to a combination of journalistic cowardice, inertia and calculation, business as usual prevailed." --@dangillmor

Journalists (And Others) Should Leave Twitter. Here’s How They Can Get Started

Approval of abortion drugs in the mail is a lifeline for patients

The Justice Department’s authorization of the U.S. Postal Service to legally ship and deliver mifepristone and misoprostol is good news for abortion seekers.

Elon Musk is getting mixed up in his own lies. My Twitter account was not suspended because of any supposedly offending tweets or for "inciting violence".

I was suspended for "Ban Evasion", which I've ever engaged in. I have the screenshot to prove it.

Andy Ngo and Elon Musk apparently confirming that Musk personally suspended my Twitter account at Ngo's request, following Ngo's multiple failed attempts to silence my reporting on Ngo's ties to violent right-wing terrorist groups.

I call on Musk to release all his communications with Andy Ngo. Let's bring some transparency to Twitter. https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo/status/1611118439812456448

“@elonmusk The left are angry that the rules are being applied to their side now that enforcement is more equal. That’s what this is all about. “When you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.””

BTW, here's a little interesting fact. You may have noticed that cameras in the House the last few days are frequently focusing on groups of congresspersons and areas other than the front of the chamber. This is NOT typical. C-SPAN operates the cameras and feeds them out. Normally, House leadership controls where the cameras point, and that is virtually always to the front, avoiding any other areas or groups of persons in the chamber. But with the House leadership in limbo, C-SPAN has full control, and they're wisely making the most of it!
