@AnneCamozzi

Thank you for sharing, I have never seen that one before, it is so delicate!😍

@vamroses you are welcome. I loved the delicacy of it as well - the veins in the petals
@AnneCamozzi Love this painting!! You have great taste, Anne. Lovely meeting you πŸ™‚ Mika
@maniandthenonos thank you and same to you. Lo9kng forward to checking out your music and seeing more beautiful pics of Kaui.πŸ˜ŠπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ
@AnneCamozzi There's definitely more of both on the way 😊
@maniandthenonos thank you! I will look forward to it.😊
@AnneCamozzi If that is by Salvador Dali I wouldn't have guessed in a million years. Wonder what period it's from. Rereading your toot I guess it must be 1948.
@TomDelargy most artists, including myself, experiment with different genres, mediums, and styles but once an artist is dead, they are often known for only a few famous paintings. Picasso, for example, did striking, beautiful realistic portraits in his youth, but is not known for that.

@AnneCamozzi

I love that. The petals have an incredibly delicate, translucent quality, and I really like the choice of colors. No wonder you love it so much πŸ’™ πŸ’— πŸ’š

@SororPeregrina the delicacy is gorgeous 😊🌺
@AnneCamozzi beautiful painting. I never would have expected that from #Dali very delicate flowers.
@strong_sue yes it’s stunning . I love his flower work 🌺🌺
@AnneCamozzi I will have to look up more. I don’t remember any in Janson’s History of Art and don’t have any books on #Dali. Branching out from my traditional love #ImpressionistArt which I have loved since art school decades ago. Lately I have been interested in #ArtNouveau and #WaterColor as I never used that medium and am in awe of those that mastered it. Thanks to #MastoArt I have found more artists to love and artwork to buy too.
@strong_sue he did a series of lithographs with flowers . I had never seen before until I read about them online. He has an incredibly large body of work.
@strong_sue Thanks for your support of artists! wish I could buy more. I try & barter when I can ,but now walls full! And table space and bookshelf tops full of sculptures. I had great experiences sharing art on Twitter but people are dispersing for good reason. I’m still there sometimes. Finding it hard to let go of friends - I’m on multiple platforms as my art friends seem to have gone different places. we are all trying to find the home Twitter once was.
@AnneCamozzi I get that. I still check in on #Twitter but note they are experimenting with ways to make it worse. Still have some art lovers and friends that are there. Few have accounts here but still post there.
@AnneCamozzi WOW, thanks for sharing this Dali painting, Anne!!! Definitely never saw THAT one from him, beautiful!
@AnneCamozzi never seen this painting before, it’s so lovely!
@annietime yes! It’s a very unusual Dali. He did a series of flower paintings that were quite different than what he is known for. Happy to share 😊
@AnneCamozzi Beautiful! I’m an author not an artist, but it sounds like we have similar focuses, only different mediums.😊
@BranwenOShea thanks so muchπŸ™ I’m an author as well and have published in the environmental field.
@AnneCamozzi Nice! I hope my fiction inspires some new connections with nature and themselves.😊
@BranwenOShea nice to connect with you here πŸ˜ŠπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ
