Hi everyone! I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long for this… I’m planning to release the first preview version of “Mona for Mastodon” this weekend if everything goes smooth.

Some notes:
1. This preview is for Spring users only. In order to use it, you need to install the latest version of “Spring for Twitter”
2. TestFlight link will be located in Spring Settings > About Spring
(1/2)

3. TestFlight seats will be capped at 3000 for this version, which should be well enough. I will add more seats in case it’s not actually enough.
4. Some features may not work, work abnormally/unexpectedly, or missing entirely in this initial version
5. System requirements: iOS/iPadOS 13+, macOS 10.15+
(2/2)
Available now…
Tip: if you have a lot of customization settings in Spring, you can transfer them to Mona using Spring’s Export Settings function in the Advanced Settings. After tapping the export button, you should be able to find “Mona Beta” on the top row app list.
@MonaApp Brilliant, thank you for the tip and the beta app. I’m slowly going through on both iPhone and iPad and loving the same UI as Spring, beautifully done as usual 👍
@MonaApp Already using it and this is exciting.
@Ronnie @MonaApp Installed and using - thank you for this early gift!
@MonaApp Fantastic! Nice early Christmas gift.
@MonaApp Thank you and happy holidays!
@MonaApp Is there a link to the TestFlight? Or is this only for Spring users?
@mgetzski @MonaApp it is only for Spring users. Link is only available in the Spring app.
@MonaApp Yay 🎉🥳. Congratulations.
@MonaApp and I’m in! Happy to try this out.
@MonaApp Thank you for the holiday gift! Happy holiday! 😊
@MonaApp Just downloaded it and have begun testing it. So far one issue I see is that I cannot find a way to see my local timeline. I can just see the home and federated timelines. Other than this it is looking good so far.
@MonaApp ist there a chance testing Mona without buying Spring?

@MonaApp Awesome! I got this too!

So far I’ve noticed that the notifications tab only shows you replies (same as Ivory), but other than if you like Spring, you’ll like Mona!

@MonaApp works great so far! nice
@MonaApp So far so good on mobile! Should this work on macOS yet?
@brndnsh Yes, Mac version’s download link is on the About Spring page as well.
@MonaApp Thanks! I had initially tried downloading via TestFlight, but that didn’t quite work out. 👍
@MonaApp Just letting you know that I figured this out. Love the app.
@MonaApp What a great pre-Christmas gift! Thank you and Merry Christmas!!!
@MonaApp Where can we send feedback? I get a lot of Bad Authentication Errors (215)
@MonaApp I do not see that link (iOS), strange
@MonaApp Fixed. I had to kill the app and now I see it. Thanks !
@MonaApp Nice! Just download it! Merry Christmas to all the developers
@MonaApp This app is pretty amazing so far! I just LOVE how customizable it is!
@MonaApp Thank you!! As expected, it is awesome so far!
@MonaApp Disregard my message about the domain name. I should’ve been using .social, not .app.. My mistake.
@MonaApp Where would you like beta feedback?
Lists tab shows an error, is this because I've never set any up yet or just that you've not added functionality
@pstockton @MonaApp I have a list but not showing.
@sinky Probably not implemented yet. Not expecting everything to be there just yet but it's already awesome.
@pstockton Yes, that what i thought too.
@pstockton @MonaApp The TestFlight app has a mechanism to give feedback and typically that’s the method developers want for feedback, although I don’t know if @MonaApp has specified that.
@MonaApp I stopped using Twitter but just bought Spring to get on Mona. Loving it so far!
@MonaApp Will you reconsider only letting twitter users try out your mastodon client, seems counterintuitive
@MonaApp Awesome, I’m in! Any chance you could add URL scheme support so I can integrate this into @Opener like I’ve done with @ivory and Tusker?
@timonus @Opener Yes, I will let you know when the feature is ready :)
@MonaApp @timonus @Opener Hi Tim, I just updated my URL Scheme documentation for Mona, and those new functions will be added in the next Mona update. Please let me know if you have any question. https://github.com/JunyuKuang/Spring-for-Twitter/blob/main/URL%20Schemes.md

@MonaApp full?
@MonaApp checked again and the link was there!
@jackamick yay, you finally got a break! 😂
@cutler The next best thing 😂
@jackamick I never got into Spring as I used the native in recent years, but always saw rave reviews. I’m interested to check this out as well.
@MonaApp Are lists a future feature? Get only an authentication error message
@Giessler Yes it’s not supported in this version.
@MonaApp @ChrisLawley Excellent, loving it already!
@MonaApp A stunning start to a beta. Money will be thrown your way on release!
@MonaApp 不兼容 gotosocial.org/ ,登录成功后返回是空的。。
@MonaApp Would dearly love to help test this out, but can't justify spending the money on a Twitter client when I don't even use Twitter (and knowing that I'd happily pay for Mona when it becomes available). Guess I'll have to wait.
@MonaApp It feels and looks like Spring. Amazing work as always!!
