I love @glass more and more for my photography. What a wonderful community in such a finely crafted app ✨ https://glass.photo/tmillot/7Cssh0MnG3cyKccfDfNgRx
Thomas Millot on Glass

The spectacular nave of Amiens Cathedral in France, with its height under vault of 42 meters.

Love seeing all the experimentation with social experiences online right now. It feels so validating after starting @glass years ago. At the time alternatives seemed nearly impossible given the big tech players, but as a team we knew there had to be something better, something different. So thankful for all the members who took the leap with us over this past year to build something special, and I'm so excited for the years ahead.
So I've been secretly in a cold war with some weird crypto bros for like 6 months now, and worryingly in the last couple days it's looking like they've won. They wanted my Instagram handle, and somehow they've now got it. Without my consent. And it's kinda scary. Strap in for a toot storm (is that what we call it?) [1/16]
Aside from the people I followed, Twitterrific from The Iconfactory was what made Twitter great for me. I keep thinking I’ll be happy to subscribe to whatever they work on next… then I realized I could subscribe to Wallaroo right now to show some support and get a bunch of cute wallpapers ✨ https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wallaroo/id1630565980

Every news outlet should stand up a Mastondon instance for their reporters & staff.

It’ll be great to see [email protected] or whatever domain they want to use.

Built in verification. Every reporter for the Washington Post on a washpo domain. Every reporter for the New York Times on an NYTimes domain. Etc, etc.

Plus the “local” feed for each instance becomes a feed of all the posts from that institution mixed together — providing extra discovery.

I am enjoying seeing so many posts here that are like “here’s a first beta for my new Mastodon app, Trunkytoot”.
I’m excited to announce my new app: Mona for Mastodon, a Mastodon client for iPhone, iPad and Mac, powered by the same amazing features of “Spring for Twitter.” A preview version of Mona will be available to Spring customers soon.
