@at4rax It shouldn’t, Twitter didn’t bring any views to my videos at all, at most 4% of the external sources, which themselves represent like 4% of my views, so it shouldn’t make a difference at all!

@thelinuxEXP I mean yea it’s ok … but it’s not quite there yet for me. Does not feel like a native iOS App to me but maybe I am just spoiled by Tweetbot for Twitter and Apollo for Reddit… @christianselig is just doing magic things there. Every Platform should have a Christian.

Thomas Frans 🇺🇦@thelinuxEXP DistroTube once made a video about people from the Linux foundation who were using closed source software to do their work, and I feel the same when I hear that channels/people that promote OSS still use Twitter or other proprietary garbage. It's good to see so many also make the move to Mastodon!

Hellvol@thelinuxEXP Did that too. Every day comes with a new Elon's dubious decision about the social network. Trying to stay away from software from companies that I don't agree, and support projects that I like. Having some difficulties to stay away from WhatsApp, Google Maps and Android, tho.

@thelinuxEXP - I just put my @bceverly in there unadorned and didn’t have a whiff of trouble. If you do that then DeBirdify can let you download your people you follow and automatically follow them on Mastodon.

Similarly I’m trying to decide if I can stop spending money on Nintendo - bullying DidYouKnowGaming feels like the last straw for a very long history of petty and anti consumer behavior. I just love the games so much. 😞

In addition to what you've mentioned, @gergelyorosz has reported extensively on cruelty towards employees at Twitter under Musk. Elon may step down, but he will remain the owner of Twitter and his behavior as the Twitter CEO was very harmful.
