@taylorlorenz I still think it's personally selective retaliation. I have a small account with alternative handles in my bio and pinned tweet. I just checked and it's still there. So, it doesn't seem to be an automated tool, or if it is there are filters that prioritize bigger accounts. Or maybe they just didn't get to me yet.

It wouldn't surprise me if this violates anti-monopoly laws in the EU. Microsoft was forced to give the option of installing alternatives to Internet Explorer. Apple was recently compelled to allow alternatives to AppStore. I can't imagine Twitter getting away with this.

My comment was simply repeating the opinion of a EU (german) lawyer out here who actually is in a litigation with tw about something else.
Yes, the opinion is that as a social media company it hasn't a market dominance, meta or alphabet might have but not twitter.
