juicy, electrified meatsack // "refreshing, thought provoking, and useful" — mike tannenbaum // "probably the greatest living software QA" — nick disabato
Me protesting six years ago. I still think Sarah Kendzior described things first and best: "It's a transnational crime syndicate masquerading as a government."
I am begging you to stop calling your rambling 2-hour conversation a "deep dive." It is not a deep dive. It is snorkeling in the shit-infused shallow end of the Dunning-Kruger pool while shouting about supplements.

I believe the same applies to any AI tool. It can thus be generalized as:

"AI tools are useful proportionally to the ability of their instructor to execute the given assignment themselves.”

My talk “Hypermedia: The First 2000 Years” is now available on Vimeo!

My stupid Logitech Spotlight remote died, so I became much more static on stage than I would prefer, but I hope the message was delivered well enough anyway.

I warmly welcome feedback, questions and critique!

People go to Stack Overflow because the docs and error messages are garbage. TLDR exists because the docs and error messages are garbage. People ask ChatGPT for help because the docs and error messages are garbage. We are going to lose a generation of competence and turn programming into call-and-response glyph-engine supplicancy because we let a personality cult that formed around the PDP-11 in the 1970s convince us that it was pure and good that docs and error messages are garbage.
meant to post this on my personal account, OH WELL
