I'm an international politics and policy junky with a degree in philosophy who works in process improvement for a manufacturing company. Have been using Filters more here. I highly recommend filtering 'nytimes.com/', 'twitter.com/', etc. to reduce bot cross-postings and clean up the ol' timeline. Real news can be had from other sources that I actually support.

There's so much to unpack with that article! I feel like Google had a good concept, but maybe the timing and execution was a little off. As I recall, nobody was really clamoring for a new social media network in 2011. I wonder if Google+ would be more successful in 2022 with the #twittermigration.
