The Council focused on Online Safety and Harassment, Human and Digital Rights, Suicide Prevention and Mental Health, Child Sexual Exploitation, and Dehumanization on Twitter.

@MeidasTouch Meanwhile, they are all about pushing "prompts" to people participating in the Community Notes program to rate Notes related to Elmo and his recent Tweets. And it seems to be only that genre of Community Notes for me. No idea if everyone is getting them, or only left-leaning accounts.

@MeidasTouch I've been on Reddit for ~6 years. I joined during the early Trump days. There was a subreddit called r/The_Donald. When I joined it was an open subreddit. It was a vile cesspool of depravity and hate. Reddit had to quarantine it and finally permabanned it in 2018 or 2019.

It seems that Elon wants to resurrect r/The_Donald, using Twitter as its instance. If so, prepare to be revolted on a global scale. All right-thinking people should permaban Twitter from their lives.
