@jbf1755 According to the federal prosecutors, the right-wing extremists in Germany have a military arm. This was exactly the breaking point of the Weimar republic. History won´t easily repeat itself in Germany though, cause the far-right is too weak after several decades of strong democracy. But everyone stay vigilant. Especially in the US.

What Democracy? The US isn’t even a Constitutional Republic any longer. The Congress acts as telemarketers, selling favorable legislation to the upper 10% for campaign funds paid to the propagandist oligarch media outlets; thus completing the circle. And keeping the money in the hands of the rich.

@jbf1755 and I read today that Putin has a plan to escape Russia at some point, since he is losing the war with Ukraine and that he and his closest cronies are planning to grab an island off the coast of Venezuela. So there is that, too. Couldn't happen fast enough to suit me. I believe trump will make a run for Saudi Arabia since there is no extradition treaty with them. I'd not like that & dearly hope we stop him & put him in solitary confinement.
