@jbf1755 #Truth Our #Democracy is never a given. The dark forces of #authoritarianism are always attempting to destroy it. Dictators have ruled the world for millennia. The concept of a “government of the people, by the people, for the people” is relatively new and pretty vulnerable as we’ve seen. #Obama once exhorted us all to be #GuardiansOfDemocracy - we are ALWAYS going to have to fight for it.
