Has anyone experimented w/ cbd drops or high dosage cbd low dosage thc drops/pens/gummies? Whether that’s for anxiety, stress, the ever running hamster wheel of an audhd or adhd brain, or to help ease meltdowns and shutdowns? If so - please share with me your experiences b/c I’ve been looking into it lately as a way to decrease my meltdown triggering sensitivities and/or at least help ease me when I have them since my burn out has gotten so bad that last 8-10 months that it seems I’m triggered by almost anything these days and meltdowns if not shutdowns are almost a daily occurrence now. #cannabis #cbd #thc #meltdowncentral #audhd #adhd #autism #stress #burnout #makeitstop
@thepamcakez They don’t help my ADHD symptoms at all. Good for nerve pain though. The only time I ever felt a mood benefit from CBD was from 30:1 CBD:THC pressed tablets and the ones I liked are discontinued now.
@thepamcakez I use CBD on a daily basis (buds or vape) to better manage stress, but I'd say I'm not even close to what you're experiencing.
Dosage might be a bit of trial and error tho', same with the strain.
THC is almost impossible to source (legally) over here and I would not really trust black market's.
@thepamcakez by the way, I'm not even close what you're experiencing (based on you say in your toot).
Best of luck!!!
@maddler thank you! Every bit of advice helps right now. (:
@maddler yeah - the meltdowns and shutdowns weren’t always this frequent or this bad. But as long as my workplace is toxic as hell and a sensory and micromanagement nightmare - and as long as I don’t make enough income to return to therapy (good therapy not the shitty talking at you kind that my insurance will pay for - and as long as I can’t afford to move back out from my (pretty sure both nd but still emotionally and psychologically abusive/toxic) family home - it’s just an ever continuing and increasing case of burnout and I need SOMETHING to allow me to not get triggered by (now almost) everything, be able to increase the focus decrease brain fog and just exhaustion - and to help either ease me out of meltdown or help prevent them from happening as much/being so easily triggered.
@thepamcakez look, what I can suggest (but I am *not* a specialist nor a counselor) is if cannabis is legal where you leave, go to a good dispensary and explain them what you need and they might be able to suggest you the best strain for you. Ain't gonna be a panacea for everything, but might be worth a try.
There are definitely strains to help you focus and strains to help you relax.
Also, with vapes, you might be able to pick up the right tarpenes mix for you.
@thepamcakez but yeah, environment will always play a big role in how you feel.
