This is a well-known neo-Nazi abbreviation for “Heil Hitler” on a day that Nazis are trending. This is NOT accidental. Elmo is extremely well-versed in 4chan symbology.

If anyone was wondering if #Elmo’s target audience got the message. “14/88” is a popular extension of “88” which adds the “14 words” about saving “white children” created by Nazi terrorist David Lane.
Numerous neo-Nazi trolls are adding the number to his comment to make sure he knows that they heard him clearly.

Another example of a neo-Nazi spreading the “14/88” meme is Kremlin #propagandist Jack #Posobiec who is protected by #Twitter despite his constant white supremacist #radicalization.
Posobiec was a major contributor to #MikeFlynn’s #Pizzagate psyop through #MAGA3X in 2016 and was responsible for targeting #CometPizza with violence.

To the weak attempts at trying downplay #Elmo’s obvious #Nazi signaling by insisting that he was actually talking about #Madagascar or whatever, recall that he loves the number 69 and his bid for #Twitter was $54.20 per share because Elmo thinks 420 is funny. He is a fully developed 4chan troll, not a fully functional adult. He is perfectly aware of “88.”

American media’s reporting of sociopolitical division and unrest almost entirely ignores the psychological war that produces the bizarre, violent behavior they breathlessly report on.

What's hilarious is that fascists think they are smarter than the other conservatives. They derisively call the other conservatives "normies" in part to imply that they are smarter.
As someone who has argued with lots of conservatives, evangelicals, libertarians, and white supremacists, I can tell you that the white supremacists are far dumber than any other sort of conservative. It's a stunning example of the Dunning-Kruger effect.
