Through constant focusing on our economy since the early 1970s, when Watergate brought shame to almost anyone with an (R) after his/her name, a huge portion of the voting public has been convinced that "successful" business owners should be part of our government. And of course, these people are pro-trust and anti-public good, so I don't see any revival of anti-trust legislation coming anytime soon.
Amen. Even a near-monoply can result in a catastrophe like the baby formula shortage. Where are today's trust-busters?
