What goes with us... through the exit door of life.

There are a few things I'd recommend experiencing. No particular order. One:

Owning, wearing, and becoming what inhabits a really fine, heavy leather bike jacket. Then...

Giving it away to someone who wouldn't expect it, couldn't afford it, gave up on the dream of owning a jacket like that.

Part of the transaction is telling stories about that leather.

The coat can't go, but memories exit with us.

Who we are won't end. Waste if it did.
