Palouse, Washington

One of my favorite things to take photos of are the welcome signs that greet you upon arriving in a town/city. If this interests you please follow along with this hashtag #WelcomeSigns

Home, Washington

While this wasnโ€™t the first welcome sign photo Iโ€™ve taken, itโ€™s the first one I specifically traveled to get. I love how varied the signs can be, some are very simple, some very intricate. All are unique :)

Kettle Falls, Washington

Pretty cheeky sign which I enjoyed. I fortunately avoided meeting the resident grouch.

My head cannon says thereโ€™s a welcome sign in Palm Springs welcoming people to the Yakima of California ๐Ÿ˜‚

@amay206 Love the crooked Patty Murray sign - it really makes the photo.
@gorfram What do you mean?
@amay206 I mean that the Murray sign, and its being crooked, adds quirkiness and character to your photo. Without it, the photo might seem a bit too straightforward despite its strong geometric composition, & regional & thematic interest.
@gorfram also gives some perspective of time, clearly is taken during election season. Appreciate your insight :)
