LeeThe demise of twitter is bad precisely because it's been such a useful tool in fighting for action on climate as well as a host of other important issues.
Velocity, I think the comment unnecessarily pits one valid concern against another. It's a strategy that some use to intentionally divide communities that would otherwise be united in action.
Of course I'm not saying that's the intent here, but I'm very cautious whenever I see anything that even looks like that.

Elzi Volk@Velocity2222. Good point, but falls on deaf ears. Twitter versus the planet is symptomatic of human behavior. Easier to focus on and participate, fits tendency for simplistic ‘dirty laundry’ and drama. Same mindset as why reality shows are so popular. Or perhaps I haven’t had my coffee yet.
